Thirty years on the tools
David has spent his working life in carpentry and joinery, covering everything from small home improvements, full refurbishments to lining superyachts of the rich and famous. That range matters: he can hang a door on a Tuesday morning and be framing a roof by the afternoon, and he knows which approach actually suits your house rather than pushing the biggest job going.
Clients tend to comment on the same three things; a calm presence , diligent approach, and a level of finish that holds up when you look closely.
A fine cabinet-making background
For eight years David worked as a lead cabinet builder on high-end marine projects, including interiors for Sunseeker luxury yachts. Fitting cabinetry into a hull means nothing is straight, tolerances are unforgiving, and the finish is inspected up close.
He brings the same discipline to domestic joinery. So rest assured when alcoves that taper, floors that slope and chimney breasts that lean are all the familiar problems he has overcome.
